Indian Human Hair

Indian human hair is the better of the Asian human hair. It is the next best after European human hair. Indian human hair only needs a minimal amount of processing to be used for a wig, or other hair replacement solution. Out of Indian Human Hair great looking wigs can be produced at substantially lower prices than European human hair.

A few years ago there was a large scandal in the Religious Orthodox Jewish community over Indian Human Hair. Orthodox Jewish Law dictates that married woman must cover their hair. For years hair was covered with cloth and hats. In the late nineteenth century it became popular for religious woman to wear wigs as an attractive solution to covering their hair. Many of these wigs are made with some or all Indian Human Hair.

So it was no wonder that it caused such a great scandal when one of their leading Rabbis ruled that religious ladies were forbidden to wear Indian Human Hair. This ruling came out after research was done at it was discovered that most Indian Hair came from the Tirupati temple where there hair was shaved in service to their g-d. It was argued among the Rabbis if the hair itself was considered idolatry or it was just the act of cutting. In the first few days after the ruling, until it could be cleared where the hair on the wigs came from, many woman wore snoods (bag like coverings) and hats. Later list were produced stated which wigs were certainly free of Indian Human Hair.

After that many wig makers got Rabbis to certify that their wigs are Indian Human Hair free. Today, most Religious Orthodox Jewish Woman by Indian Human Hair free wigs. Instead their wigs are made from European Human Hair, or other Asian countries Human hair.
